KITAP

KITAP is a permanent stay permit, which is quite difficult to obtain but provides enormous benefits to foreigners who wish to establish their livelihood in Indonesia.

You can only apply for a KITAP once you have obtained a KITAS (limited stay permit) and had extended the latter multiple times. Unlike any other stay permits in Indonesia, the KITAP is valid for five years. If after five years there are no changes to the status of the expat, the visa is extended automatically; you need to apply for a new card.

Documents Requirement

Scanned of the passport on identity page and cover.
Scanning Last Stamp of current Visa Minimum Validation 60 days / Valid visa is required during the process to avoid over stay
Address in the country of origin. Address in Bali (hotel/villa).
Insurance documents
Bank statements for the last 3 months (showing proof of allowance or income of USD 3,000)
House contract (I can arrange this later)
Have been using KITAS for 6 years
Identity Card (KTP) of the homeowner
Identity Card (KTP) of the guarantor Number, Activity)
Vaccine Certificate
